Marshall Islands Nuclear Displacements – Al Jazeera Article: Invisible and Ignored Oppressions by the U.S.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the recipients of United Statian democracy with the Atomic Bombs dropped. Japan, like Korea would later, had almost all major cities destroyed in daily bombings on them in the great second world war. Now it was Hydrogen bombs. How large would the “democratic” United States build their destructive powers?
Beginning with the United States acquiring the Philippines after defeating Spain in the Spanish-American War, then fighting many of the Filipinos and indigenous/Black tribes there for control of the Philippines in the little acknowledged Philippines-American War that followed the Spanish-American War, the United States has plotted to rule the Pacific.
Hawaiian rulers were betrayed and belittled by the United States until finally Queen Lilioukolani had to try to stay strong but acquiesce to American “laws” in from the 19th to early 20th century. Aaah the 50th state? It is actually not, if you look at what happened and what it all means, and how it happened. But no matter for people these days. The Hawaiians still struggle to recognize their sovereignty.
Guam and Micronesia were next. While the Australians had made themselves a nation by genocide and imprisonments and assimilative policies against the aborigines, which still goes on today, the Cold War intensified. The terror became even more possible after the horrors of the Atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the chemical weapons “experimented on” the Koreans in the Korean War.
The intensification of nuclear warfare was foreseen in the 1930s, as leaders and scientists began talking and considering. And after the Atomic bombs, the hybrid bombs, and then the Hydrogen bombs became the “delightful” focus of scientists married to domination and militarism. Race would be the divider–between those that would be victim, and those who wouldn’t. Even American soldiers and scientists psycho-physically affected by testing the bombs in Nevada and New Mexico, would not be immune from this.
There were many peoples and lands in the Pacific, who were evacuated and suffered due to American nuclear bomb tests. Lands granted the U.S. in international treaties, as “Protectorates” had little to dow with what the word relates to: protection. Islanders were evacuated and the tests conducted. Till this day, very little has been done to compensate or apologize.
In the Marshall Islands, between 1947 to 1958, there were 67 nuclear blast tests conducted by the U.S.
The islanders were told that this was for the good of the larger thing called “mankind.”
This is how a White Pacific has been generated. The Black Pacific has a long memory.
